# Introduction

> This is the official docs for AlphaInsider API.

## API Keys

Generate an API key from the [developer settings page](https://alphainsider.com/settings/developers).

Provide a name for your API key and select the permissions you want it to have.

Click "Create Key" and save the API key somewhere secure.\
See documentation and replace `<api_key>` with your saved API key, where applicable.
